Merit Packaging Limited

Merit Packaging Limited (PSX: MERIT) is a Pakistani printing and packaging company incorporated in 1980 and associated with the Lakson Group of Companies. It manufactures and sells printing and packaging materials, including offset packaging, flexible packaging and point-of-sale materials. For FY2026, the company reported revenue of Rs 3.43 billion and profit after tax of Rs 123.64 million, compared with a loss of Rs 599.67 million in FY2025. However, the reported turnaround was largely driven by a one-time gain from the disposal of its Gravure division. The company continues to face challenges in restoring sustainable operating profitability and managing accumulated losses. Investors should review its latest financial statements, cash flows, debt position and PSX announcements before making investment decisions.
